Cowl Vent Rubber Seal 53-56

Cowl vent seal installation, remove cowl vent, clean the seal lip, use an even layer of good weatherstrip adhesive, (our #3125 or 3m rubber cement), clamp down until set. The cowl vent can be adjusted both at the hinge screw point and most importantly at the handle support bracket. To adjust, shift vent in elongated holes, if additional adjustment is necessary gently bend the cowl hinge arms. I said gently. the weather seal is a bear to install, it does fit but you will swear it doesn't.
