1950 TRUCK BEDS CHANGED MID YEAR.
1950 EARLY Series: still had steel floor, curved stake pockets and embossed bed sides.
Many of the 50-Early bed pieces fit back to 42.
1950 LATE Series: had new wood floor, rectangular stake pockets and smooth bed sides (no embossing).
Many of 50-Late bed pieces continued to fit Flare-side beds through 53-6 series and beyond.
