the 92180 is strips of dampener material intended to stick to the inside of the outer door skin (that%u2019s clear as mud, right?) Adhesive side toward the outer door skin, stick them to it, just about any way you can, even if you cut them up and put little patches all over, warm them up a little with a blow dryer and roll them down tight. It is difficult place to roll as you are working through the door inspection hole.

Then the 92181, is thin strips to put on the outside of the inner door, which would be between the door panel and the door metal., they fit in the little dents and 2 are for the INSIDE of the door inspection plate.
Any bit of dampener you can get on the metal will quiet the cab down as well as insulate. Mostly though, this is for sound.

We sell the dampener material in rolls as well so you can cut up as many pieces as you want. I like what we call OVERDONE mat the best for doors if I am "overdoing" it a little. It is thinner material but will conform to bends well, you can heat it way up and get it rolled down nice and smooth. That is 2166-B a roll, which is 36 x 48. One roll cut up in little pieces will do the doors pretty well.
