This is NOT ORIGINAL, but is great piece to replace the upper bearing and retainer. Little easier to deal with, install, more forgiving for worn columns and CHEAPER!!! WIN WIN
THIS BEARING REPLACES BOTH THE 2755 TOP BEARING AND 2756 RETAINER SLEEVE.
Note that when changing steering boxes, etc. you may need this in the lower portion of the column as well since many original columns were held in place by the actual steering box neck.
this holds the outer column away from the inner turning shaft.
