windshield is installed from OUTSIDE truck, rear window is installed from INSIDE. Always use butyl, do NOT use silicone or glue, a box of rubber gloves, razor blades, a bottle of Windex and large roll or paper towels. butyl does not "dry" use small bead but expect to run clean up around the glass about 500 times or a whole roll of paper towels, and again a later when everything settles.
