installs 1956 style latches, strikers and striker safety covers into any 1953-55
or 1956 Truck.

Latch star
then engages Striker behind the cover, “capturing” it.  

Helps prevent door star and striker from separating and letting door pop open.  This is a common occurrence in any small collision, or even many times during normal driving with cab flexing, around curves, bumps, dips and such.
