The manual box shaft is the same as the power box shaft on all the years. Not sure why it was assumed they were not but we do make the pitman arm for the conversion of BOTH MANUAL AND POWER and so does CPP now. Note that I note in my catalog not to use the Ford pitman, Truck'n did an artical once that said you could but, NO, It will not hold and I have been trying for years to advise people not to try it.
