Use this one with all windows EXCEPT CURVED 1953-55 SOLID SIDE GLASS, (use 1740-EX for 1953-55 curved solid side glass)

POWER WINDOW KITS: All the kits I have tested have similar problems. If they have the channel style lifts they are too narrow and must be spread apart to accept standard 1/4" glass, even then using the correct butyl tape is difficult. The clamp style lifts let the glass go too far down into the clamp so the glass does not go far enough up. To remedy this problem we are including a little extra butyl tape to use as a spacer in the
clamp. We are in the process of making lifts for the channel style but it may be a few months as I have a few (ok, lots!) of things ahead of them.
WARRANTY: limited lifetime: breaks down to 3 years from date of purchase full replacement as long is it is isn%u2019t abuse or water damage. After 3 years the pricing is pro-rated by month.
NOTE: DISCARD THE MOUNTING BAR THAT COMES WITH THIS, IT IS WIMPY AND NOT LONG ENOUGH FOR THE TRUCK, ORDER OUR INSTALL KIT 1737 OR MAKE YOUR OWN MOUNTING BAR.
